How do movies create an impression from the audience?

ciar asked:

It’s just a survey. I just want to know how movies create an impression on you as an audience.
In what ways and what factors affect your impression on a movie, the group of people and the culture which the movie features?
Or, in short, what affects your view on the movie-makers and the group of people and cultures being portrayed in a movie?

Movies creates an impression to its audience by bringing them something they would like movie makers base their movies on the latest trends if todays trends are about some horror movie.
Movies creates an impression to its audience by bringing them something they would not want at the present.
